Junior Golf Academy

Registration

Our Junior Golf Program is 8 levels with each level lasting 16 weeks. If your child has prior golfing experience he or she may skip levels but attending level 6 and 7 is mandatory in order to get to Tournament Level.

A child may start the program mid-term up to week eight. After week 9 they must wait until the start of the next program. The coach to child ratio is 7:1

Rules
  • Junior Golfers will be grouped by age and ability
  • Junior Golfers are required to arrive on time for each class.
  • Junior Golfers with prior golf experience my skip levels but may be subject to a proficiency test.
  • All Junior Golfers must attend and successfully complete level 7 in order to promote to Tournament Level.
  • If a Junior Golfers does not complete a level, they may repeat the level as often as necessary in order to advance.
  • All classes and testing must be completed in order for the Junior Golfers to advance to the next level.
  • Classes are fixed and a no-show will count as one class unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
  • Junior Golfers are required to have their own equipment.
  • Children are required to adhere to all the rules and instructions set forth by the coaches.
  • Truflight Golf and Whitehead Driving Range will not assume responsibility if a child is injured as a result of not following coaching instructions.
  • If a uniform is damaged, lost or destroyed, the parents must purchase a replacement.
  • If your child does not have golf equipment, please Contact us so we can assist you in making the rite purchase.
  • Payments must be received within one week of the registration date and 2 weeks prior to the start of the next level.
Dress Code
  • Team Shirt Color must be worn and tucked in at all times during the class.
  • Caps are optional. (We will Provide Shirts)Belts must be worn if trousers/shorts have belt loops sewn on them.
  • Pants should be worn in appropriate size and fit. Short-shorts, saggy/baggy trousers/shorts will not be allowed.
  • Shorts for girls no shorter than 4 inches above the knee-cap are highly recommended.
  • Short/trousers should have pockets (to hold ball markers, tees & scorecards).Tennis shoes or golf shoes required. В No hard-soled shoes, sandals or slippers will be allowed.
  • All types of hats/visors must be worn properly at all times (with the brim forward).Failure to comply will result in the Jr. Golfer not being able to participate in the class.
Tournament Level
  • Kids are responsible to get to the golf course on time.
  • If a child is late, he or she will miss their tee time and no refund will be given.
  • Each child should have sufficient money to buy water and snacks.
  • Collared Shirt, Golf Balls, Golf Shoes, Tees and a half set (minimum) is required to play on course.
Code of Conduct
  • If you have prior knowledge of a Junior Golfers missing a class or being late to class, please notify Mr. Fred Morales at 9518-4540.
  • Junior Golfers shall conduct themselves as young "ladies" and "gentlemen" while at the driving range and on the golf course.
  • Junior Golfers are required to study the course material and practice whenever possible to prepare for level testing.
  • Parents are considered spectators and are not permitted to assist or disrupt the coaches during class.
  • There is no need to rush a child through the program. They will advance when ready and no sooner. В We Make Learning Part of the Fun
